Oracle Applications Support Analyst
Inoapps are a leading provider of Managed Services in Oracle Database, Applications and Middleware technologies, with a growing client base that stretches around the world. Inoapps are currently looking to recruit an Oracle Applications Support Analyst with a strong desire in developing their skills, to provide support across a wide range of clients and technologies.
This role is as a functional client support analyst, providing support, guidance and solutions. The successful candidate will predominantly provide remote support as part of an off-site team of application analysts; so communication, team work, and effective prioritisation of workload are key to this role. Some clients may require analysts to spend time on site to provide support during implementations and go-live of Oracle systems, so you must have the flexibility to travel away from home if required.
You must have a strong Oracle Financials background, working with 11i and ideally R12. Exposure to other modules and processes, in particular the CRM modules, would be a big advantage.
You must be prepared to be part of our scheduled on-call team. In addition, you must be CRB cleared, or expect to be cleared upon a new application. As we have a UK wide client base, this position can be based from any of our offices in Aberdeen, Derby or Edinburgh.
To succeed within this role, it is imperative that you have the following attributes:
- Excellent Communication skills (Written and Oral) with good attention to detail, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good commercial awareness
- Innate ability to develop strong relationships
- Good team management skills
- Good understanding of core support processes (i.e. ITIL)
- Team player with demonstrable ownership of issues and ability to escalate when necessary
- Ability to operate successfully in a multi-tasked environment, with periods of pressure
- Flexibility when it comes to supporting new technologies
